Joy Villanueva is a senior at UNLV who began her journey online as a fangirl, running fanpages for the artists she adored—specifically One Direction—which taught her how to draw audiences and make stuff that actually resonates with fans just like her. She’s written for The Luna Collective, interviewing rising stars like Isabel LaRosa, Maggie Lindemann, and The Two Lips, and grew a devoted 4,000+ follower fanbase on Twitter by sharing fun, capturing content.

Currently a Social Media Intern at The Vox Agency, Joy has helped a launch Vegas content-focused account, creates content calendars, edits short-form videos, and tracks trends and analytics. She is also a Social Media Intern at Dim Mak Records, where she ideates, produces, and posts TikTok content and assists with marketing decks. Joy previously completed an A&R internship at OceanFive Records, scouting talent and supporting artist growth.

Joy loves collaborating with those in entertainment, media, and music, bringing creativity, energy, and a fangirl’s enthusiasm to every project. Outside work, she loves beach days and hanging with her cat, Yogurt.
